My campaign platform centers on making the office of Rostraver Township Commissioner a channel for expressing and promoting our most pressing township issues to the County and State levels of government. I plan to enhance our voice to the County Commissioners, State Representatives and State Senators.
In order to do this, I will need to keep the Rostraver Township residents very well informed through the use of email chains, Facebook, live broadcast of township meetings via Ustream, and keeping you informed via this website and my blog about my perceptions and positions on such topics as:
- Keeping our residents involved in the ever evolving Marcellus Shale gas drilling industry activities and Ordinance development in Rostraver Township
- Expanding the information stream within the residents of Rostraver Township so they may have a voice when it comes to the ever increasing school taxes that Rostraver must face since we account for over 75% of the BVASD tax base
- Increasing State Legislative support on behalf of our township volunteer fire companies to alleviate the financial struggles that they must face due to casino activity competing with their fundraising efforts
- Educating our residents on the hazards of the upcoming dumping of fly ash near the Rostraver Airport
